KOVR Sunscreen was created by Melissa and her husband, Lonnie, a U.S. Navy veteran, after their dog helped uncover Lonnie’s basal cell carcinoma. Inspired by their love of the outdoors, they set out to create a high-performance sunscreen built for active lifestyles—waterproof, reef-safe, biodegradable, cruelty-free, and designed to feel great during any adventure. KOVR’s mission is simple: protect outdoorsmen and women while making sunscreen application an everyday habit.
