About the Company
Historic Banning Mills, founded by Mike and Donna Holder, is an adventure resort located in Georgia's Snake Creek Gorge. The resort is home to world-record zip line tours, aerial adventure courses, Eco-Spider SWINCAR tours, kayaking, horseback riding, hiking trails featuring suspension bridges, team building programs, and a variety of outdoor experiences. Guests can stay in Tree Houses, Cabins, and Inn rooms designed to immerse visitors in the natural beauty of the gorge. The Holders are committed to balancing outdoor adventure with conservation, preserving the area's unique ecosystems while creating memorable experiences for guests. As a public 501(c)(3) conservation and retreat center, Historic Banning Mills also protects and interprets the rich history of the region, including the recently designated Banning Mills Industrial Archaeological District, which honors more than a century of industrial innovation and engineering along Snake Creek.
