My name is Max, and I’m the owner and operator of Halo K Cattle. I’m a fourth-generation cattle raiser, having learned the trade firsthand from my father-in-law, Mike, who ranches near Olney. Mike learned the ins and outs of ranching from his father-in-law, Don Chandler, continuing a legacy built on hard work, stewardship, and respect for the land. Together, our family has been ranching the same land for more than 115 years in Throckmorton and Young County. Today, I carry that legacy forward through Halo K Cattle, doing things the right way, hands-on, honest, and rooted in generations of Texas ranching tradition.
