At Bastrop Cattle Company, we believe the food system doesn’t need to be complicated. Since Pati Jacobs took over her family’s ranch in 2002, our mission has been simple: raise healthy cattle on natural Texas prairie grass and deliver that quality directly to our neighbors.
We don't use feedlots, secret imports, or auction-bought cattle. Every cut of beef we sell is born, raised, and processed right here in Central Texas. By cutting out the middlemen and the corporate "smoke and mirrors," we provide a transparent, personal connection between the rancher and the customer. When you buy from us, you aren’t just getting beef; you’re supporting a local family business that cares about the land, the animals, and your health.
