Samuel Nicholas, the Captain of the Marines. Since the Marines Birthday is in November, we wanted to commemorate them and do a shirt on someone who can be regarded as the founding
father of the Marines. Samuel Nicholas was the first officer commissioned in the United States Continental Marines and by tradition is considered to be the first Commandant of the Marine Corps. Served from 1773-1783 when they were known as the Continental Marines. $29.50
