What Happened to PublicSquare’s Marketplace?

Last Verified:

PublicSquare was the biggest conservative marketplace in the country. 70,000 businesses. 1.6 million users. Traded on the NYSE.

In August 2025, they announced they were moving away from the marketplace to focus on fintech—payments, credit, financial infrastructure. By Q3, the marketplace was classified as discontinued operations. The founder stepped down as CEO in January 2026.

The marketplace is gone. The need isn’t.

Millions of Americans signed up because they wanted to find businesses that shared their values—family-owned, veteran-owned, American-made, faith-based. That demand hasn’t gone anywhere.

One Bison is a directory of human-verified businesses connecting Americans with companies that share their values. Every listing is checked by our team before it goes live. We include service businesses alongside products. And it’s completely free to browse.

If you were using PublicSquare to find businesses, we’re here.
